How to Combine Multiple Screenshots into One Image on a Computer
Neither Windows nor macOS has a one-click way to join several screenshots into a single tall image. The good news is you do not need to install anything to do it, a browser-based tool can handle the whole job in a few clicks.
Step 1: Take your screenshots
On Windows, use the Snipping Tool or the Win + Shift + S shortcut to capture each section. On Mac, use Cmd + Shift + 4 to select an area, or Cmd + Shift + 3 for a full screen. Scroll down a little between each capture so the pieces cover everything you need without large gaps.
Step 2: Combine them into one image
- Open a browser-based screenshot combiner.
- Add your screenshots by dragging them in, or selecting them from your files.
- Put them in the correct top-to-bottom order.
- Combine them into a single image and download the result.
Why not just use an image editor?
You can technically do this in Photoshop, GIMP, or even Paint, by creating a large canvas and pasting each screenshot underneath the last one. It works, but it takes several minutes of manual alignment for something a purpose-built tool does automatically in seconds.
