Common Screenshot Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
Most screenshot problems come down to a handful of avoidable habits. Here are the ones that show up most often, along with quick fixes.
Forgetting to hide notifications
A message banner popping up mid-screenshot can cover important content or look unprofessional if you are sharing the image. Put your phone on Do Not Disturb before capturing anything you plan to share.
Scrolling too far between captures
When taking a series of screenshots to combine later, scrolling too much between each one leaves gaps in the final image where content is missing. Scroll by roughly a screen's height minus a small overlap, so nothing gets skipped.
Not checking the order before combining
