How to Screenshot an Entire Webpage
Capturing a whole webpage, not just the part visible on screen, is useful for saving articles, receipts, or pages that might change or disappear later. The method depends on which browser and device you are using.
On desktop Chrome
- Open the page and press
F12(or right-click and choose Inspect) to open Developer Tools. - Press
Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Pto open the command menu. - Type "screenshot" and choose Capture full size screenshot.
This saves the entire page, from top to bottom, as one image automatically.
On desktop Firefox
- Right-click anywhere on the page and choose Take Screenshot.
- Select Save full page.
On iPhone Safari
Take a normal screenshot, tap the thumbnail, then choose the Full Page tab before saving. See our full guide for iPhone for details.
On Android Chrome and other browsers without a built-in option
If your mobile browser does not offer a full-page capture, take several screenshots while scrolling down the page, then combine them afterward.
- Screenshot the top of the page.
- Scroll down and screenshot again, repeating until you reach the bottom.
- Combine the images in order into a single tall picture.
A note on why the page might look different
Full-page screenshots sometimes miss content that only loads as you scroll, such as lazy-loaded images or infinite feeds. Scroll through the page once before capturing so everything has a chance to load.
